Velvet Hour

An autumn editorial in deep reds and window light — tailoring worn by real people, photographed like old portraits.

We work slowly and with very little equipment: one camera, natural light wherever we can find it, and plenty of time for people to forget we are there. Every frame in this series was graded by hand in our Lisbon studio.

The finished work was delivered as a set of archival prints and a small edition book.
